To: All Earthdog Enthusiasts
As you may be aware, we have lost a number of AKC Earthdog Judges over the last few years (gone inactive, retired, moved, etc.) which has made it increasingly challenging to obtain enough judges to hold Earthdog Tests in our area. In an attempt to remedy this situation, RMEC and RMATC contacted AKC and have made arrangements to co-host the first AKC Earthdog Judges Seminar held in our part of the country in several years.
This seminar will be held (if we are able to get at least 15 participants – AKC minimum to hold a seminar) at Koebel Library (5955 S. Holly Street, Centennial, CO. 80121) on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 from 9:15 am – 4:45 pm.
If you have any interest currently in becoming an Earthdog Judge or even think you might be interested at some point in the future or just want to learn more about how you and your dog are judged, (Judging seminars are held in our part of the country very, very infrequently) or are a current or former/inactive Judge who would be interested in a refresher (will include all new AKC rules, classes, title changes/adds, etc.), please consider attending this seminar. It will be taught by Jo Ann Frier-Murza (Longtime AKC and AWTA Earthdog Judge, Current AKC Earthdog Field Representative, and Author of “Earthdog Ins and Outs”) and should be very informative.
The Seminar Registration and Lunch Order form (boxed lunches will be provided) is attached along with information on where to send payment for seminar/lunch.
Registration Form/Payment is due no later than Friday, March 31st in order for us to confirm with AKC (minimum attendee requirement met and roster so AKC can repro. seminar material packets).
If you have any questions about this seminar, please feel free to contact the seminar coordinator, Suzanne Trzos, directly at
